Payroll Meets USD1

USD1 is now live in the Zebec SuperApp.

Through Zebec’s support for World Liberty Financial’s USD1 on Solana, teams and institutions can now run payroll in USD1 using real-time infrastructure built for modern payments. That means streaming earned pay to employees and contractors in real time, with instant access to spend or withdraw funds, allowing them to capture the time value of money.

With USD1 supported in the Zebec SuperApp, companies can put onchain dollars to work in structured, operational workflows - from funding payroll in USD1 to managing payment flows from a single interface. While recipients of streams can track and withdraw earned pay in real time through the same system.

Inside the SuperApp, teams can:

  • Stream earned pay in real time
  • Run bulk transfers in one click
  • Set token vesting schedules
  • Access employer and employee dashboards
  • Onboard team members via email, with walletless onboarding coming soon

Some features are still in testing and will be rolled out progressively as USD1 support and use scales across the SuperApp.

How USD1 streaming works in the Zebec SuperApp

Using USD1 for payroll streaming is straightforward, with one important concept to understand first.

In the Zebec SuperApp, payments are powered through the Vault feature. To enable streaming, users fund their Vault within the SuperApp. The Vault acts as the payment layer for execution, while funds remain fully controlled and custodied by the user through their connected wallet. Funding the Vault enables streaming but does not transfer custody to Zebec.

Step 1: Connect your wallet

Go to superapp.zebec.io and connect your Solana wallet. This is your entry point into the Zebec SuperApp, where you manage payroll, transfers, and streaming activity.

Step 2: Fund your Vault with USD1

This step matters because funds sitting in a wallet are not yet available for streaming. The Vault enables payment execution inside the SuperApp, while the sender retains full control of their funds via their connected wallet. For example, if a company plans to run a $100,000 payroll in USD1, it would fund its Vault with $100,000 in USD1.

Step 3: Fund your Vault with ZBCN for fees

Streaming fees are paid in ZBCN. Users should also fund their Vault with ZBCN to cover the fees that power the streaming system. USD1 funds the payroll. ZBCN powers the infrastructure behind it.

Important to note, Zebec’s streaming architecture is designed to reduce and optimize transaction costs for continuous payments.

Step 4: Set up the stream

From the dashboard, navigate to the Streaming section and click Create New Stream. Enter the recipient wallet address, select USD1 as the token, and define the amount, duration, and frequency.

Streams can be configured by minute, hour, or other intervals depending on how payouts are structured. Select when the stream begins. It can start immediately or be scheduled for a future time.

Step 5: Confirm and sign

Click Set Up New Payment and sign the transaction. Once confirmed, the USD1 stream goes live.

What the recipient sees

Recipients can also spend their pay in real life using Zebec Cards, available directly in the SuperApp and activated in seconds. Powered by Mastercard, the cards are accepted globally across retail and online payments.

What the employer sees

Employers can monitor and manage all active and past streams from the SuperApp dashboard.

They can track progress against allocated payroll in real time, see what has been streamed versus remaining balances, and pause or adjust streams as needed.

Why this matters

Most payroll systems still operate on periodic batch logic. Payments are sent in fixed cycles, through systems not designed for real-time operation.

Zebec changes that.

With USD1 in the SuperApp, stablecoins become a functional payment tool. Teams can fund payroll, stream compensation in real time, and manage payment activity from a single interface built for business use.

It is simple on the surface, but powerful underneath.

Native USD1 payroll, powered by Zebec, brings together stablecoin funding, real-time streaming, and an application layer designed for teams and institutions.
